Try your local Salvation Army.. although it may be too late for them as well. I know where I am at, they had signups back in October.
Also, contact a church to see if they would be willing to adopt him for Christmas.
You can try toys for tots as well. Just go to their site, click on request toys and contact the officer nearest to you. I am not sure if it is too late to apply with them or not. (http://toysfortots.org/)
The good news is that at 1 year old he isn't going to miss much. You could get him a couple items from the dollar store and he would probably be happy. If he is anything like my girl was at 1, he will be more interested in the wrapping paper than the gifts.

Good Luck!

Visit your nearest H and R Block office (the tax folks) with your latest check stub. You can receive an advance on your earned income tax credit in less than 2 hours and up to $1500.00.

He's only 1. He doesn't know any better. Just put on Xmas music and decorate with whatever you have. That's "some kind of Christmas" isn't it? Presents do not equal love.

i agree with kitkat

don't spend too much as he is only 1 years old. heck if you give him a colourful cardbox box he'd be just as happy!!

Save the money this year and put it away until he's a couple of years old!

Meet your parish priest in church and the church will definitely help.

Don't stress over it, he's only one and doesn't know anything about it.
