Isnt Allah just an ephithet for God? I think every relegion has their own Allah, and as far as the Abrahamic relegions (Christianity, Judaism and Islam) go, they all actually worship the same God, just call him different names as they have a basis in different languages. So the vast majority of the world's people believe in or more form of 'Allah', they just call him something different.

Why not just believe that there is one God with several names, when you really think about it, how could one who is so much have only one name? You might be called Mr., Dad, father, son, cousin, ect. This one God could have had many prophet. I do not disagree that Muhammad did live and did receive messages from God, but that does not mean the Jesus of Nazareth did not do almost the same thing but gave his life for his lord.
Most often the one God sends down a message of peace and compassion, I do not judge but advise you not only to accept what you think but also try to see it from the other side.

Allah, God , means the same. Muslims and Christians believe in the same God! So do Jews! For the Christians, Jesus said 'I am the way the truth and the life, no one can come to the Father, except through me. I and the Father are one! I AM also means God!

the concept of allah itself is wrong and is a myth.
an angry god cannot be just, merciful, balanced, righteous, knowledgeable and guiding force. anger is not a good. allah has all these bad qualities. he doesnt even come near to satan in anything.
also his prophet is the worst example that any prophet can. he says he is the last prophet and after him no one can be prophet. if nayone says that all muslims should kill him, koran is the last book of god and so on. an epileptic, child molestor, womaniser, murderer, jealous and compulsive liar is the prophet of god, can you imagine a prophet with all these bad qualities and character.
so to your main question. other than idiots like you nobody else will believe in allah for he is false god, he is a uncivilized, cruel and pea-brained.

In time of Prophet Muhammad pbuh, muslims lived peacefully because they made no compromise in their religion and followed it exactly the way it is!
Muslims were the most peaceful then and conversion rates were so high because of the way Muslims presented themselves.
If all of the people who answered lived in the time of our great Prophet would have answered differently and in a more positive way!
As Muslims, we need to come back to our deen and show our true love and trust in Allah like those before us, inshallah (Allah Willing)!

When we talk about Believing in something then there is no question of "IF". and specially in the case of Hashem/God/Allah/Khuda/Maker/Bhagwan/ whatever you name it.
What you are saying is imposing your thought on others. Why not let them choose by looking at your character then there will be no need to impose something but people will accept it willingly if that will be nice.
What is the character of Muslims at present? what is the percentage which is really following Islam?

If everyone believed in Allah, we'd be left with the same in-fighting as we see in Iraq.
I think I'll keep with Christianity, at least when we fight with each other it's a bit more civilized. But then I expect nothing better from Islam, a religion founded by an persian shepherd who liked the idea of being a deity

We would all be speaking and reading Arabic.
We would all be in spiritual bondage. Much live the time of Moses and the Egyptians.
I do not think that Almighty God will allow this to happen until the beleives in Him are called out of this world. Then the great deceiver will have more power.

peace be with everyone sounds more like it mate, not being religious myself i have no belief in organised religion. I do not believe that any man or church can explain the universe away with parables and the like.
but if everyone believed in one thing the world would be more peaceful, but also much more boring and humanity would be like drones.
salam alekum

What if all people who believe in a god actually lived according to their God's instruction? we could all believe in Allah or Jehovah or Yahweh or Thor or Mars or whomever, but if we don't live according to the law of our god, what difference does our belief make? a lot of people purport to believe but don't live as though they do.
