I am so glad I'm not the only one. I've been here for 3 months too and was at my previous job for 11.5 years. I actually moved to a new town just to work here. It's been very tough. New house, new job, new town, new school for my kids, new schedule, no friends. I totally understand. I've been focusing on the little positive things to help me get through. Also, I've found that if I don't talk about the petty stuff as much, I tend to overlook it easier. Hang in there and let's hope it gets better

Did you have to change jobs and are you a little resentful because you were comfortable in your old one?
Or did you choose to change jobs and now you think you made a mistake?
You can"t expect to feel the same level of comfort in 3 months that you did in 4 years. Yet, it did not sound like you really liked your previous job just that you were used to it.
Can you go back to your old job? That is an option or do you want to do something totally new all together?

It sounds like you're regretting taking this new position. You say you "do the work" but you don't sound like you enjoying doing it. Sometimes we tend to think the grass is greener only to find out it's not. I've left a company for a "better higher paying" job and really regretted it. In my case, I ended up quitting and finding a new job. When you have to work, I think it's important to be as happy as possible doing it. Life's too short not to. I'd find out if there's any way you can go back to your old position. If not, you'll have to see if there are any other jobs available either within the company or in your area and go for it! Good luck!

did you switch jobs or were you forced to by management? If you switched on your own will, give it some more time, maybe 6 months total, and go from there. If management switched you, consider speaking with management about the previous job.

I know what you mean. After 90 days you should be feeling comfortable if that is the right position for you. I would go to my HR director and discuss it with them. Maybe you can be reinstated to your former position. If not, well maybe you should explore other options.
Good luck.

Do you still enjoy the work? It sounds as if you do not. Pehaps you need to find another job.
