imagine an arrow in flight, lets say for it to get to its target, it has to travel half the distance first. After it travels that, it then has to travel half of the remaining distance. It does this again and again. So if the distance is 10M it goes to 5M then 2.5M and so on. If this is true, does it ever hit its target? If yes or no, Why?

My ex-wife and I have two children together. I was not a good husband but came to an epiphany last spring. I told her I had changed and all I wanted was to be a family. She said I was too late and she was dating someone now. I do love her more than anything and the kids want us back together. I've tried writing her letters and telling her how I feel about her, but all she says is that I'm too late. I know deep down she still cares, but nothing I do makes her even think about me. I just want my face and arms to have the same skin tone as my body (which is normally covered) I don't think it's a tan because my arms and face have been darker than the rest of my body for 6-7 years now. I look ridiculous when I go to the beach... :x

It disturbs ME to see it once the child is past a certain age. I do think it borders on incest or abuse after awhile. At a past job, I walked into the bathroom where my co-worker was breastfeeding her son. I was horrified, but I covered my reaction and asked gently, "How old is your son?" The boy stopped sucking, looked at me and said, "I'm six!", and went back to it. If they can walk up to their "meal" and just stand their to receive it, something's wrong. Especially if they already have all of their childhood teeth and are in school.

Yea...1 fourth of the population is retarded--just look at the bell--curve...another fourth is subhuman, and 1 fourth is normal...and then like 1 fourth is 'smart'..this is how we get our average of '100'--.therefore, if there are so many retarded people in the population...are we destined for doom (the smart fourth) due to all the retarded things the retarded people use to entertain themselves...? How do you know what to take pride in...when you know a fourth of the population is retarded? Should the top fourth do a seperate society so we don't get confused with what is "retarded funny" and what is actualyl funny?

I mean....I think I am becoming retarded by being near retarded people....maybe if I were near smarter people or people as smart as I then I would be more challenged...aka--have a point of reference..

thanks to those who answered my question on how to open the table in literati. It was very nice to know people care and help. Still there is a major problem left. I can't see the score and the space below the screen where a person writes to you.I only see a big screen and the place to click to finalize your word or change the letters. Nothing. Why didin't the ethical visions of various Chinese philosophers ever become the basis for a spiritualized church or a world religion. How is it that the Chinese have managed thousands of years without the religous construct that almost all other civillizations have used.
