That would depend on if you want to be back with your ex and also if you think that the problems that were there when you broke up are improved. I had a strict rule. No repeats. The only exception has been my husband after we had split up for two months. Generally, people find it very hard to change. It takes a lot of time, patience and willingess on both parts. If you think he is changing or atleast making a good effort to, then you can go on a few trial dates. If you see signs of the old boyfriend, then you should probably just walk away with a clean cut. If he wants you and you don't want him it will most certainly hurt him more in the long run if he thinks he still has a chance.
