Get a part-time job? If that's out of the question, then my suggestion would be to ask those who are already in the same situation or have been in the past.

Or get creative. Go to garage sales, buy cool stuff and then put it up for sale on ebay. Buy concert tickets for hot artists and do the same. My brother just made a about 400-500 bucks (sum total) on several pair of tickets for a Clapton concert.

Some of these I have personally done, and others I have heard about from other people.

1.Become an expert scholarship writer.
2. Tutor science courses
3. Accumulate debt, and once you graduate you can work in an under-represented area and there are programs which will pay off your debt.
4. You can also work at a Native American Refuge and they will pay off your debt as in 3.
5. Dont get a junky part-time job! If you must work, seek work through a program or on campus organization that way you can at least gain something while you work, and its just easier to work on campus.
