G'day Ben J,

Thank you for your question.

It is team rules. They would be worried about his form which is well down on his form on both points and rebounds as compared with previous seasons. Before he was benched, he only played for 20 minutes on the previous night. He should spend more time worrying what they pay him for and less about that.

Regards

During the term of John Paxson, the Chicago Bulls have institute a "no headband" rules which disallows Bulls players from wearing one during games.

It's odd really, since a number of Chicago Bulls advertisements depict Wallace wearing a headband along with his Bulls uniform.

On the other hand, Chicago feels that since Wallace is being paid $60 million dollars over 4 years, he should yield to the wishes of the Bulls management and not wear a headband.

Hope this helps.

because its a team rule. if wallace continues to defy this rule then he will be suspended. they already bent the rules for him on wearing ankle tape in practice (everyone else must tape there ankles he doesnt have to) if wallace has any brain he will stop wearing the head band

because of a recent team policy a few years ago put in place because management did not like the way some players were wearing them. they felt wearing them lower on one side, for example, was a distraction to the players performance since it was used for a fashion statement more than its functional purpose.

It's a team rule Ben knew about before he came to Chicago, he shouldn't be complaining about this.

As far as I know it has something to do with the Bulls court dress code.

Team rule probably. It's like how Yankee players have to have short(er) hair and be clean shaven.

It's a dumb team rule. I say, what does it matter?
