A man walked into a bar, sat down, and ordered a beer. As he sipped the beer,
he heard a soothing voice say, "Nice tie."

Looking around, he noticed that the bar was empty, except for himself and the
bartender at the end of the bar.

A few sips later, the voice said, "Beautiful shirt."

At this, the man called the bartender over. "Hey, I must be losing my mind,"
he told the bartender. "I keep hearing these voices saying nice things, and
there's not a soul in here but us."

"It's the peanuts," answered the bartender.

"Say what?" replied the man in disbelief.

"You heard me," said the barkeep. "It's the peanuts... they're complimentary."

I find it hard to fully enjoy life when everything is going great, just because I am constantly worrying about when something bad will happen. I know it's unreasonable, but whenever something good happens I have the thought in the back of my mind that it means something bad will happen, too. Am I the only one who thinks this way? It's annoying.

I have been going through some difficult times lately. I feel sad and upset most of the time.

Nothing has worked out in my life and I feel like a total failure to the point where I did not want to spend Thanksgiving with family and friends that invited me. They tried to reach out to me and I pulled back and could not return the feelings.

I keep hoping that when I wake up in the morning one day I will feel strong and refreshed. I do plan to see a therapist, but don't know how much help that will be.

I am working at a job that I do not like but at least it gives me somewhere to go each day. My child is living with my ex-husband and missing me.

I don't feel like eating and really doing anything at all. I try meditating, but can only do it for 10 minutes or so. I do exercise as often as possible, but that has a limited effect.

When will this sad, blue feeling end? I don't like being depressed.

do you think that when a guy or or girl is ineterested in you and you had previously never set eyes on them and never fancied thier look but also never got to know the inner personality, u tend to give in and start to explore more into them i.e. you ocmetimes get curious as to why this person is interested in you and u make an effort to find out what they are like and start liking them if they seem alright even though u would have never imagined being with someone like him/her. it happened to me? does it happen to u? like they are around you like in classes at university for like 3 yrs and u would have never imagined yourself with them ever but u end up being with them. human psychology i guess. we react to emotions.

I can't live without chocolate...I have to eat some everyday,every hour to be honest... I never run out of chocolate and always have some with me when i'm out...If I don't eat them, I feel like I'm going crazy and feel very uncomfortable....People say that if I want to marry someone, it has to be a chocolate factory owner.....
