Are you kidding? Of course I have. Many a time my heart has been warmed, and even hurt severely, by the power of words. Words are not to be thrown about lightly.

Absoluetly! Words pull at our heart all the time. It is one of the ways we communicate to others who we are and how feel. The written word is especially moving because it eliminates all other forms of communicative messages such as tone, posture, facial expression etc.

YES(almost like your heart bein sliced by a very,very dull,ice cold knife!) and it was just a few weeks ago.was madly(foolishly) in love with this gurl and wasn't listening to my best friend who warned me before that he didn't trust the girl.Even accused him of bein' jealous!But my best friend has always been crazy and stubborn so w/out me knowing it,pretended to befriend the girl and played "bad cop" and told her how he really doesn't like me and just pretending to be my friend.He convinced her to correspond by e-mail and that's how i found out how she really felt about me.My best friend warned me that the e-mail was kinda a "Rated R" if it was a movie,but I read it anyways and was shocked when i read that "she hated how i told her how i loved her and she thinks it was so corny,it made her wanna throw up sometimes." yet when she talks to me,there wasn't any indication of it.
As usual,a part of me DIED THAT DAY,but felt more sorry that i didn't trust my best friend.Actually he saved my life,because i wanted to do something much more stupid to cope with the pain.
I guess it's true-anybody regardless of how old or young you are-you could still be blinded by love.

not just words but the way in which
words are expressed ........
There can be an elegance in
expressing a point or need with feeling
and idiom which can and does grab
one by the heart .......
