The Corporations have more power to keep our borders open because we have a corporate sponsored President dedicated to their cause. There are millions of illegals here;of course some of them commit crimes, probably in greater proportion than do legal Americans.Crime-wise,my concern is with their numerous offspring who show a far greater propensity to form violent gangs than do other groups. This can only worsen as our society becomes increasingly more high tech.We need to attract more people who value education since many of the menial tasks that Mexicans now perform will become increasingly mechanized. Some if not many will do well but there will be many who will fall behind and become involved in criminal activities-much more so than the general population,I fear.

I think rather than documentary analyses, it'd be nice to see like Dan Rather or somebody go spend a month on the border themselves. Send an independent reporter and a camera guy, and have 2 or 3 news companies co-sponsor the whole thing.
It's a big story, with lots of issues, may as well have honest coverage of it. Maybe PBS or something...call it real simply ' a month on the border' etc...

Because the press has always been liberal oriented and tend to be pro-illegal alien. By not taking a stand or publishing contriversial articles, not as many subscribers are alienated.

When was the last time someone cancelled a subscription because of something a newspaper or magazine did NOT publish something?

However, daily the press gets "I'm stopping my subscription because you said...."
