I find it hard to fully enjoy life when everything is going great, just because I am constantly worrying about when something bad will happen. I know it's unreasonable, but whenever something good happens I have the thought in the back of my mind that it means something bad will happen, too. Am I the only one who thinks this way? It's annoying.

No, I too do it sometimes. As when i'm playing basketball and things start falling my way, i have learned now that when things are going good for me, I try that much harder to keep it going good for myself and it works. You have to recognize the situation and be able to react to it in time.

Unfortunately I'm exactly like you.I remember when in 2003 I was having a very good moment but was also worried about what could come next.Anyway it's quite common the fear to lose something good when you got it.

Yes, I think that way also. I keep waiting for bad things to happen to me if my life is going too good.

Sometimes people have anxiety which can bring about invasive thoughts...some that feature pessimism. Check with your primary care provider to see if there are options to address this by talking to a therapist or getting medication if it is becoming a real problem for you.

Doubt is a seed planted by "the enemy". Take things at face value and be thankful for it. When one good thing comes to you, look around for another. Blessings come every day, you just have to know how to recognize them.
