Ok by the time hanukkah comes around we will have been dating for umm 2.5 months, and were really into eachother and I'm trying to figure out what i can get him for Hanukkah,btw I'm sorta a Christian or Unitarian(yea i know that its weird and complicated) but he is Jewish(ovbiously) but i have no knowledge of the Jewish holiday present giving traditions. He's getting me a ring and a necklace for my b-day or christmas, (my bday is on Dec.26) and i dont wanna get him any more video games (though he would love them) but that would be limiting our time together.

It has and creates war all over the world. I have many religious friends specially i have many christian friends. But what often amazes me is howe sure they are on things. And pity me that dont belive in there God. For me God is a great power i see God in everything that is good. I see God in friends and family in the beuty of the nature.I can't belive that in 2006 some people belive the earth is just a few thousands year. That Noah had 2 of every animal on a boat. (what a size that boat most had) And the bible many many chapters where left out. Who did that God or humans. In the beging christianity was split in many beliefs who decided what was right God or humans. If God want me to go to hell just because i like a drink ,sex before marriage, dont belive in the bible or asking questions if he exist well down i go. My God likes that people do the best they can and not hurt eachother

I know it shouldn't matter, but some of my friends are criticizing my outfits on a regular basis, and it hurts. Several examples (just for today)
"Why are you wearing a halter top to school under a sweater?"
*look of disdain while looking outfit up and down*
"I don't like the way the sweater looks folded like that"
"Why are you wearing those weird tights? It shows your toes strangly"
I dont think my clothes look strange (it sounds strange on YA though), and the clothing is not bad quality (from delias), but I suppose I just pair the outfits oddly. What are some replies that I can say?

Just to spout off a little here, but me and the gf have hit a rough patch. She doesn't want anything to do w/ a commitment. Fine. She is such a great girl and she put so much into it to start w/ but now she has grown really distant. We have talked over and over about it, and it keeps coming back to some general themes: she has something in her past that I gather is pretty traumatic, but she won't share it. She goes on to say she doesn't deserve me and she'll only hurt me, blah blah. Fine. I think she's just fishing for reassurance from me. She has said she wants to be single for a while (fine again) and then texts me non-stop. I respond, but this can't go on forever. Point being, I want to tell her that at some point the fear of getting hurt has to be weighed against her fear of watching me walk away. Any suggestions?

How did the 12th amendment solve the specific problem that came about in the election of 1800. Just 7 sentences long.
