So I am sure this has come up already but maybe not about this topic.

I understand this word that he used repeatdly is probably one of the worst in our language, however why can black people take such offense when they say it to themselves? There were people in the audience who kept heckling and calling him honky which I am sure fueled his anger. However, what he did was not justified at all.

Also why is not as big a deal for black people to call a white person, honky or cracker or other racially profiling comments, not even just against white people but also racially derogatory comments towards mexicans as well as asians or visa versa.

What he did and said was uncalled for, but isn't it just as bad to do it to everyone? An apology can only go so far. Wouldn't it be wiser to address the issue of racism in general, and focus on equality and not just focus on the black race?

My friend and I both have daughters around the same age. her daughter is almost 3 and a half (6 months older than my little one). Her daughter does not speak very well for her age - still what I would consder toddler babble and she looks quite dopey - I know that sounds cruel, but its hard to explain! My friend didn't know she was pregnant until something like 34 weeks ( yes, im serious), and did quite a bit of drinking before she knew. Could this be a reason why her daughter is reasonably slow in talking etc? what effects can alcohol have on unborn babies that carry on after birth?

My cycle is normally 28 -30 days, never more or less. Last month we were trying to get pregnant and my period didn't arrive on time. I was very tired, and my breasts hurt, though they do sometimes before a period too. Then after 35 days I had a period. Seems a little heavier than normal, but not too much. What is happening?

I have been friends with a guy for 3 years. When he gets drunk he starts telling me how much he cares about me and about our future. I don't really understand cause he doesn't say anything like that when he is sober. I don't think he is really trying to get in my pants cause I am not going to have sex without a relationship, I make no effort but he still calls me. Is he lieing to me when he tells me how much I care or is just to scared to tell me the truth when he is sober.

I guess most hospitals have this 'attatchment' to the bed, but I have been told you need to ask for it. I just dont want to deliver my baby semi-sitting ot laying on my back. I read that this allows for 30% less room for baby to come out and is not the easiest way to give birth. I have two older children, and although I delivered both of them semi-sitting...I now dont think it is the best way...PLUS my tailbone has been sore almost the entire pregnancy and I dont want to put extra strain on it. I am considering laying on my side or perhaps squatting...how does that bar work?

A senior citizen in Florida bought a brand new Corvette convertible. He took off down the road, flooring it to 80 mph and enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left on his head. "This is great," he thought as he roared up I-75. He pushed the pedal to the metal even more. Then he looked in his rear view mirror and saw a highway patrol trooper behind him, blue lights flashing and siren blaring. "I can get away from him with no problem" thought the man and he tromped it some more and flew down the road at over 100 mph. Then 110, 120 mph.

Then he thought, "What am I doing? I'm too old for this kind of thing." He pulled over to the side of the road and waited for the trooper to catch up with him. The trooper pulled in behind the Corvette and walked up to the man. "Sir," he said, looking at his watch. "My shift ends in 10 minutes and today is Friday. If you can give me a reason why you were speeding that I've never heard before, I'll let you go." The man looked at the trooper and said, "Years ago my wife ran off with a Florida State Trooper, and I thought you were bringing her back"
