His name is Jim Photoglo and yes he sang Angelina

Dan Fogelberg
either Jim or John Fogerty of Credence Clearwater Revival. They weere a 70s band. My Angelina does not sound familiar, but it could have been an obscure cut for Credence or a Fogerty solo album.
