My husband and I are trying to have a baby, and I've been reading up on baby care--feeding, clothing, sickness, allergies, etc etc etc.
BabyCenter.com has articles that are reviewed by doctors. In one article, it says that doctors recommend small amounts of soft pasteurized cheese, yogurt, and cottage cheese for 8 to 10 month old children (if they are ready for it and are not showing signs of lactose intolerance), but why do they say no cow's milk until age 1? Dairy products are made with cow's milk, so why can't you feed it to them as milk, not just as an ingredient in a diary product?

I broke a bone, it is on the side of my hand about a month ago. The doctor decided to put my whole hand in a splint. Today i got the splint taken off, and he showed me an X-Ray and i saw that the bone still has a little crack. It seemed to be in the right place, but i saw a small crack whereas i thought there wasnt going to be one. He said it is in the early stage of healing, and he cant keep me in the splint because otherwise my hand will become immobile. My question is if any of you know what the chances are of my bone healing, what i can do to help it grow faster or for it to properly heal,and finally, what happens if ithe crack doesnt mess together like im guessing its was supposed to( in two weeks) which is when im supposed to go visit him again, will i have to have surgery or what...

I don't know which is worse. If you're in a line somewhere (movie theater, Subway restaurant, Chipotle, etc), a Rocker will always be in front of you swaying non-stop, in the way, so that you can't see the menu or whatever. Knee-bouncers make the floor shake so that everyone's on their rhythm. It drives me crazy and sometimes, makes ME nervous. Rockers also make me have too use the bathroom. Does it bother YOU? Why do they do it? They can't be nervous all the time......
