Either the week after Thanksgiving, or the first week in December. Then we leave most of the decorations up through January first before taking them down.

I used to pull out the decoration and have it done by two days before Thanksgiving. Because than i would have to start cooking.

Dec 11th on my birthday. It is always exactly two weeks before Christmas and two weeks after Thanksgiving! What could be better??

i won't even think about it until after thanksgiving - it'll be up around the first weekend in december and come down after the new year... or before if i can talk my husband out of wanting to leave it up
