"If we leave Iraq, it will result in chaos, the Bush administration tells us. "It will collapse into civil war without our presence," they further tell us. But it is already in chaos! And the US can't do anything about it. Let's face it The Iraqis are tired of us. Tired! No one has a handle on things there. Insurgents? AlQuada? Iranians? Syrians? Saddam faithfuls? We aren't even sure WHO are in charge of all of these killings, All the US military can do is to GUESS. They "all look alike", remember? The country has already descended into a death trap under our rule. US troops cannot prevent civil war. Just like Bush failed at importing democracy. The US took over the so-called Green Zone, a 7 mile long Saddam complex. Few ever left at first because it had all of the comforts Saddam could provide. Now, they are afraid to leave Now US contractors are pulling out with major projects either incomplete or never started .The Bush administration made a huge mistake invading that country....

the bible are there through the work of The Holy Spirit who worked through him to encourage those books especially The book of Revelation if it wasn't for him (The Holy Spirit working through him) the Book of Revelations wouldn't be there and since The Holy Spirit doesn't dwell/work through evil sinners he must of been wrong about the books and they were not led to by The Holy Spirit... Anyways why do you think that augustine was evil he is a fountain-head of most christian protestant sects?

San Diego will not take care of existing Ficus Trees along some city streets. The City of San Diego has a money problem and Urban Foresting is at the very bottom the priorities which is bad enough, but when asked to prune certain Ficus trees in Hillcrest in 1989, the City of San Diego sad that they won't do it. They recommended that if they wanted the City to take care of them they would have to be cut down (these are over 70 year old trees) and new trees planted. So, the wonder full local Business association, Hillcrest Business Association, raised the money to design and fix the sidewalks to accommodate the Ficus trees roots. I can't tell you how upset it makes me when I see more and more stores and parking lots being built and trees being at the very bottom of our priorities. Ficus trees are beautiful, especially when allowed to grow that big! If you live in San Diego, Do something. Let your city counsel member know that you love Trees!

My 5 yr old daughter has a fascination with her weight. She is rather tall for her age & quite slim. I tell her she is beautiful all the time. Recently my mother and I have been doing a womens weight loss program ( through healthy well balanced diets & Exercise.) I figure this is what her fascination is from. I am concerned because I'm wondering if this may result in an eating disorder for her. I know it sounds crazy, but I don't think she should be concerned with her appearance. I am just hoping we are influencing Healthy Eating & Active Lifestyle. She is active, and a good eater, but I worry about her concern? Is this normal, should I worry? Could her fascination cause her to have an eating disorder later in life? Why does she care about her appearance so much?

i didnt care for it...the first reason being that i had to read too many subtitles for my liking...when you have to read subtitles for a movie that has a lot of detail that you have to absorb it makes it hard to follow whats going on especially when they start out with subtitles...also i didnt like the idea of christ being portrayed as a mortal....i am open minded to hear others opinions, but i am also a god-fearing woman.....was dan brown creating a fictional story here or is he putting a spin on or adapting true facts to what he believes to be true?...any opinions on this movie/book?

My husband and I are going to be in Italy for 10 days the last week in March. So far the only part of our trip that is set in stone is that we are flying into and out of Rome. We have considered staying in Rome for a few nights and then spending some time on the Almafi coast, but I'm not sure that we are making the right choice doing that. We are not really sun and surf types (which in March I guess it wouldn't matter if we were), but we really would love to see Pompeii. I guess we want to make the most of our trip seeing some Roman ruins, drinking coffee in cafes and people watching, taking in nightlife, and generally soaking in the culture. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is the Almafi coast a good place for us to go or is there a region we would enjoy more? Also, does anybody know if we need to make on-line hotel reservations, or can we expect to get a hotel when we get there?

I am opposed to illegal immigration too, but I do believe that in some individual cases we should be pro-amnesty as measure of goodwill to those who are suffering. I just wanted to ask this question to get a feel for everyone's sensitivity level towards his fellow man. OK, let's put the Mexican border issue aside for just one second and consider an individual case:

A starving man flees opression in North Korea and immigrates illegally to the US, knowing that he cannot leave his communist country legally and if he makes his intentions known he will be subject to arrest and possibly torture and execution. Many people would say this man and his neighbors should fight to overthrow their opressive government rather than come to our soil. I can see why you would feel this way. We fought for our freedom. But, say this man doesn't find support from his neighbors because they are afraid. If he fights, he will die and then there will be no life for him to live. Can't amnesty be considered?

It was summer and I was full of life......I was the new kid in town but I still liked to go swim at the community pool in Rockville......next to me was a group of girls playing water basketball with one of those pool floating baskets. One of them was cute and I wanted to meet her but I was too shy to say anything and besides she was having such a good time playing ball.....suddenly I hear a splash next to me.....it was the ball....and I hear a shout "hey you......could you pass me the ball" I turned and I saw two girls.....one that I fancied and the other was her friend who wasn't as good looking......they both looked at me and had their hands up for me to pass the ball......I didn't want to hurt the other girls feelings so I just tossed the ball up in the air "jump ball".....the other one could sense it and she proclaimed to the good looking one..."that was so cute what he did".........till this day I don't fully understand what exactly happened there......anyone have any ideas?
