I'm an aspie. Will I be able to look after myself as an adult, or will I need disability assistance at times?

I'm high-functioning BTW (that is, intelligent).

well you sound quite a bit better than most of the morons I work with, so I think you'll be fine.

You sound like you're doing just fine. There are so many levels to Aspergers, it's hard to say, and each case is so different. My son is an Aspie also. He is very intelligent and does fine in school, yet he needs constant supervision.

Hang in there sweetie, you're gonna be ok!! HUGS

I believe as an adult you'll be able to live on your own, so long as you follow a plan with your doctors. You have to keep up with your med schedule and follow through with all medical and psych appointments. You're a smart kid and you'll be fine. You're actually no different than most people. We all have to follow certain routines in order to survive.
