Osama Obama.
Obama sounds enough like Osama that the Democrats might like him.

I'm not knocking the guy or praising him, because I don't know anything about him.

I love the quote by Jon Stewart after the 2004 election in regards to the possibilty of the Democrats propping up Hillary as the Democratic candidate for 2008:

"I am glad to see that my party is already planning on ways to lose the 2008 presidency." ^_^

That's what I think about when I hear about Obama running.

It doesn't matter how good they are or aren't, it doesn't matter what they've done or haven't done, If the democrats run Hilary or Obama for the 2008 election, the republicans could run an actual live elephant for office and still win.

It doesn't matter how smart he is, it doesn't matter how well he speaks or any of that. The question is: Is middle America going to vote for him? That's the only question. I for one don't think he would get elected.

well two alleged men with the last name that is slang for a women's "downtown" area have been elected president

The rest of your line of crap just doesn't make sense, so what if the names may be similar, they're 2 different names, two different people with no known ties to each other

We had one Kennedy as president, one that would have been president if it weren't for Sirhan Sirhan killing him, and another Kennedy who knocked up his secretary who later died in an "accident" that old Ted survived, and he went on to head the ethics committee, yup ethics, and he doesn't even have any

OBAMA, last name OSAMA, first name, I don't see the connection

Why didn't you pick on him because he's black? Are you only partially racist?

What? You voted for the junior Bush? A small bush is just a shrub until you water it with enough money and blood. Perhaps you should look beyond a name or race or even gender to pick who may be the best for the job. If you prefer being told what to do by some religious leaders like Muslims or right wing Christians then you would rather be told what to do instead of thinking for yourself.

Probably the same way a guy with the name of Ulyses, Dwight, Lyndon, and Abraham, did. The name will become a household name, if and when he enters the race!

i agree with you some what.he was born in this country as an American.he can't help who his parents were.however he has only a little over 2 years of political experience and should never be considered for something as big as the Presidency.somebody with that little of experience could ever handle war, hurricanes, border security, health care, social security reform, immigration all at the same time. look at the President we have now ,all that experience in politics and after everything was dumped on him at once he lost his mind.so no way can this happen it would make the country as a whole look stupid if it did.

I have said this and been called a Racist. Look we cannot even vote a man called Ford into a senate seat let alone an Obama into the White House. America has too many problems to just look at a man's character rather than his name, religious beliefs or his ethnicity.

I wouldnt care about the name what I want to hear though is " WHAT THE HECK DO YOU STAND FOR" I have heard him talk so many times and have yet to hear one time what platforms he stands on. this is why he is being pushed aside by the libs. they tried to run him up the flag pole becuase he is a great speaker but that didnt work so he is on the trash heap with Kerry, that psychic trial lawyer whatever his name is, and probably soon Hilary. There is going to be alot of strife between hilary and pilosi watch.

Barack Obama isn't a Muslim. He is a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.

Okay, he's not muslim. He was born in Hawaii. Not only that, but with a little research you'd know he attends the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.
