We are told that current young generation is the first generation where, due to being too fat, members are not expected to out live their parents., but the Government is raising the pension age to 68 by the year 2046 due to 'increasing longevity of life'.

I assume this means that there will be a generation with members dying before they reach pensionable age, and that any chronic obese people aged approx 20 years will be paying pension contributions of which they stand little chance of getting back in later life.

Why do Americans call "stupid" people DUMB? Is this not a gross insult to speech- impaired and mute people. Surely in this enlightened age that rejects race, sex and age slurs, the Americans could do something to address this nasty definition of "stupid" I am sure MUTE people are not stupid, and what do they call people with hearing problems???

American's had inferior techonology back then compared to USSR when it came to space travel. How they land man on moon first? Why did space men not burn up in Van Allen belt? That kind of radiation will fry any one. What aobut moon rocks that resemble Antartic rocks? Why NASA to this day send crew to Antartica to collect rocks and junk? Why absense of delay two second delay in trasmission when aired on TV? Why U.S. flag wave when no air on moon? Why inconsistancies with photos? Why photos look so good on moon, cameras should have melted in Van Allen Belt! Why Earth Rise photo show perfectly round earth? Earth isn't round!
OK, if man did go to moon, the televised landings and photos were faked becasue quality would have sucked.
What is going on? Any thought?

If you look up in health books and ask doctors what weight is considered healthy for some one who is 5'4" it will tell you 125lbs.-140lbs.. A 5'4" person who weighs this much wears a size 8-10 not a size 4. When I weighed 140lbs. I had guys always looking and asking me out. Now, They consider women who weigh this fat and out of shape. I personally, say they are out of shape and need to eat. What is going on? Why has it changed that we are to be even skinnier than we were before? Really, all we will be is nothing but bone before long. Think about it!!!

I have been liking a guy for 2 years but I just found the strength to tell him that I like him 5 months ago, but unknowingly hooked him up with a girl that's like my cuzin and she really likes him, but she has like 8 other boyfriends and I get so jealous when I see them together but I never say anythang. He knows that I like him but he won't say shyt he just gives me a hug and says hi and shyt. Every time I see him I want to kiss him but than I think about my cuzin and I stop myself but I know that he likes me cause the way that he looks at me and how he acts when his girl ain't around. He be all up on me and I don't hating it, I just act like I do so I don't feel gulity around my cuzin. I mean I have known her for 15 years and that is all her life. The person that i was lusting with for about 3 years got me pregant. At first i didn't tell him because i didn't know how he was going to react, and i was still having a cycle and i didn't believe that i was preganant. After a few well maybe 4mts past i told him. He was okay with it until his bestfriend told him that i had cheated on him.Which was a lie. We contuied to lust until April the 1st. Then we decided that we would still talk and build on to a real relationship. Thats when i found out that he was dating another girl. I asked him and he told me the truth the second time. I would of been alright if he didn't tell me that we was going to have a relationship with me. My baby was due on the 22nd of April. So when I had my baby on the 16th and i called him he said that it wasn't his because I had her on the 16th. She is now 6mths going on 7mths and he hasn't came to see her. He seen pictures of her and thats it. I asked him several of times to take a DNA test, but he want.

I live in Surprise, AZ just NW of Phoenix, AZ and for about a year and a half (that I have noticed) orange lights randomly appear and disappear. I would say on average of at least one day a week there are strange lights that appear in the distance in the SE over or maybe past Buckeye. The first time I saw them, there were about 6 - 8 lights that looked stationary and were a bright orange light. They would slowly disappear then reappear somewhere else. It is obviously not a plane, nor a streetlight or star. After a few times of seeing them I brought my video recorder and taped them, so I have recording of them. And again yesterday I went out to see if I could find them and they were there again, just not as many as the first time, just 2 or 3. It's hard to explain, because the times I have seen them, it was between 9 and 10 pm. I can tell it's far away because I try and drive to it but never seems to get closer. Anyone have any clue or anyone ever see them?

This questions is mostly for people in Europe, specifically Germany, since I don't know if this is done throughout Europe or just here.

My husband and I are stationed in Germany with the US Army. In searching for an apartment off post, we've found our biggest difficulty to be finding a place with a fixed kitchen. I come from a land where kitchens (and bathrooms and closets for that matter) are standard equipment in a home, even a rented one. I've asked locals and other people who've been here for years why this is, and the best answer I get is "People just have their own stuff."

What I can't wrap my mind around is that when you move, if your kitchen won't fit in the new place, you still have to sell it and buy a new one. This could potentially happen every time you move. I realize standing wardrobes and dressers are more flexible, but why not just build the kitchen into the house to start with, then you know you'll have one that fits, and you'll have less to move?
