how do i find a decent man ..and not players?

been divorced now for 6 yrs ( i got rid of him) been played since but afraid of getting involved with some one else
not desperate at the mo but im getting close

its really hard to find a guy that wont play you, n who want more then just sex.
But im sure if you wait a while, and mabe take another look at the person you least expect youll find a flame or at least something close. The guy who is always willing to climb the whole oak tree to get you down is the real one. dont climb down yourself coz the ones at the bottom are the ones that make you fall and get hurt.

There's always going bto be an element of risk in any relationship of something going wrong. You just have to take that chance. But there are ways to find out, such as, past relationships. Who divorced who? And why. There are books out there to help seek what you are looking for. But, you just have to keep looking. If you keep trying, you'll find someone eventually. Good luck anyway.

Well if I was you (which I will probably be single in a couple of months) I will start looking for either Indians or Chinese the cute ones (and I have seen a lot) because they are the most decent guys ever.

Look around. Chances are that there were always a lot of "decent" men, but you only looked at the players. Or, you have only been looking at men as players because that gives you an excuse not to date.

I don't think going to church or even looking for your soul mate in public libraries will help. This is how I see it, God already knows if you're going to get re-married or not, knows who he is and where you'll two will meet, all you have to do is live your life and let him take care of the rest. It could be that GOD has more work to do in him, or maybe you. Have fun in the meantime.

find a guy that is shy. some of us are really great guys but we are too shy to approach a good/great looking woman. I assume you fall into that category or you wouldn't have been approached by a player.

I was one of them, sweet, kind, funny, not the best looking guy on the block but not the worst either. I found a fat girl and married her but then she wasn't interested in sex so she is my ex. Go find a nice guy. Maybe the guy who has been willing to be your "friend" for several years because he wanted to stay in touch. He was willing to be your friend but he really wants to be so much more. Let him, he will make you happy.

the decent men are obviously avoiding you!! just kidding i hate it when I get played, know how you feel. Theres not many decent people period, you'll just have to keep trying and take things slow, dont just give in straight away and think about what they say to you in the initial chase, look out for lies, my mate does this alot and when I hear him chatting up a women, i feel repulsed. he always plays them

well, i haven't been married and divorced...(im only in high school lol) but I do know what you're talking about though. I've been cheated on so many times I've been driven to think "is there something wrong with me?" and i've been in your situation before. whatever you do, dont try dating services. BLAH!!! they suck. the pratically hook you up with a random stranger and then you'll think you're being hooked up with someone good.

But just try to get to know other people who knows, maybe "Mr. Right" might show up at your door someday.
