The practice of polygamy is never specifically outlawed in the Bible. In fact, there are accounts of polygamy recorded among some of the leading characters in the Bible. However, the practice is illegal in the United States (and elsewhere). Christians are instructed to submit themselves to the governing authorities as unto God - that is, obey the laws, so long as they do not violate any of the Bible's commands. So, for a practicing Christian, polygamy is wrong.

There were many instances in the Bible when men of God practiced polygamy of sorts, had concubines, or other crazy situations; look at Abraham. So, I don't think you can give a hard line answer. When God says not to do it we shouldn't do it, when he says do it, well, then maybe you'd be stuck doing it, that is if you believe in following God.

Yes and no, polygamy is wrong because two people of the same sex in one spot never is a good thing (that is in the context of romance), however if a population must grow then there needs to be more relations.

People will tell you that David had many wives to justify polygamy. Is David the perfect example, now??? If so,
then I ought to murder a man with a hot looking wife so that I may have her. Only Christ, gave the perfect example; fulfilling every jot and tittle of the law. It is His words that will always "trump" anothers actions.
(Mat 19:4) And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
(Mat 19:5) And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh
(Mat 19:6) Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
(Mat 19:7) They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away
(Mat 19:8) He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
(Mat 19:9) And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
David was a man after God's own heart; but, like all of us, he was not perfect......He was just repentent and forgiven.

Depends what churches are you with.
The German church once gave the right to Christians to have more than 2 wives during the world war 2
The Father of the Israelites also married 2 wives.

Does the pope wear a funny looking hat...lol. Yes it is wrong to me because I believe God created Adam and Gave him Eve as a wife and partner. No where does it mention Evettes or any other wife of Adam. If God set it that way from the beginning then I imagine that is what is right and proper. And if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yes, Because God has designed marriage to be only between 1 man and 1 woman. I you have more than 1 wife you cannot give them the attention that they deserve. Not only that, you can cause friction and hatred to arise between the wives. If they were to have children as well, you can cause friction, hatred, and animosity between them as well.

Adultery is wrong and against God. Lust is a form of adultery. Therefore if one is married, and has lustful feelings for another (like women he wants to be his other wife) this is a sin...so it would be sinful to not be faithful to the first wife.
