I'm a sophomore in college and my GPA is a despicable 2.38 because I suffered through a severe depressive episode last year. This happened because of things which were out of my control. My dad lost his job through gambling and is still unemployed, my grandmother died, my best friend ignored me for the entire year that I lived with him, people at my college always give me dirty looks, my family is in serious debt, my parents don't get along, the house is a complete mess, and I have no friends. My sister thinks I am weak and stupid. Am I destined to stay miserable for the rest of my life? Thanks for any advice or words of comfort that you guys may have. I keep pressing on but I don't see the hope or final destination to all of this.

Well, i made a good friend and she had this one friend who i guess was her best friend. this person always acted like she despised me and wouldnt even try to be my friend too. well, i guess she was getting jealous of me getting close to her best friend or something bc she decided to write an email about me and then sent it to her friends. then they all commenced to talking about me on their 360 pages. her 360 page is how i learned of this email. when i figured out it was about me i put a comment on her page saying "oh it was about me? ok." thats it. then i blocked her and my so called "friend" from my page and they got mad about it! then they blocked me from theirs. they are still talking about me and i dont know what i did wrong. she is criticizing me and my relationship with my current boyfriend which she knows nothing about bc me and her arent friends in the first place!! so now everyone is trying to tell me that she was just trying to be a concerned friend but i dont think so.

You put a question in here, IN THE RELIGIOUS section, asking fellow Christians to pray for someone, and they do, in fact they are all so kind I couldn't pick just one from all the Christian brother's and sisters in Christ that answered. So me and my girlfriend have been going out for a year and a half now. We kinda have a long distance relationship, i am a sophomore in college and she is a freshman at a college about an hour away.

This weekend was her birthday, i didnt get to see her, we were both busy. Also, this weekend i deceided i want to be single. I have spent a year and a quarter of college with her and i want to enjoy the single college life now.

The next time i see her, we are celebrating her birthday, with presants and dinner and such, so i feel bad about breaking up with her then, but i also feel bad leading her on. What should i do?
