I don't think he is good for the kind of offense the Sonics want to run. They have the right players but they just seem awkward with Allen being the center peice. Any thoughts?

Why might a guy look at me like a deer in the headlights so to speak when he sees me sometimes, or do that thing where they sort of make corner-of-the-eye contact with you even though you try to smile and or say hi when you see them? Am I just an intimidating person? Sometimes he comes up to me and gets my attention to make small talk even when i'm not paying attention but other times I get that deer in the headlights look. This is just a guy I go to school with and like and once introduced myself to a while ago. And sometimes I'll be walking down a hall and I'll hear a "hey whats up?" called out from behind me and then again, more small talk. I'm beginning to wonder if he doesnt remember my name or why always the "hey whats up," it seems impersonal since I use his name when I say hi. Any advice on whats going on?

For me, it's the memories and flashbacks! I find myself remembering a long forgotten situation and it torments me. Christmas is lovely for kids but it's such a lonely time of year for some people, even when they are surrounded by company. I hate the way everyone suddenly becomes festive and starts being nice too! Why can't we be nice all year? It's also an excuse for bad behaviour due to alcohol. I know I will have to hide my emotions because I don't want to spoil it for my little boy but Christmas seems to remind me of everything I've gone through. Until I had a family, I ignored Christmas completely but I feel obligated to "be happy" at this time of year. I have to be super-organised or I would cave in emotionally. It's November but all the gifts are wrapped and everything is ready NOW. I wish Christmas wasn't socially "compulsory"! Am I the only one who feels this way?

A man in the Florida supermarket tries to buy half a head of lettuce.

The very young produce assistant tells him that they sell only whole heads of lettuce. The man persists and asks to see the manager. The boy says he'll ask his manager about it.

Walking into the back room, the boy said to his manager, "Some asshole wants to buy half a head of lettuce."

As he finished his sentence, he turned to find the man standingright behind him, so he added, "And this gentleman has kindly offered to buy the other half."

The manager approved the deal, and the man went on his way.

Later the manager said to the boy, "I was impressed with the way you got yourself out of that situation earlier. We like people who think on their feet here. Where are you from, son?"

"Canada, sir," the boy replied.

"Well, why did you leave Canada?" the manager asked.

The boy said, "Sir, there's nothing but whores and hockey players up there."

"Really?" said the manager. "My wife is from Canada."

"No sh*t?" replied the boy. "Who'd she play for?"

I have had two types of reoccuring dreams since I was a little girl and I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight on what they might mean and why I am still having them.
First, I keep dreaming of sharks. When I was little the sharks in the dreams were no threat but the older I have gotten the more menacing they've become. Now it is one big shark, always the same exact shark.
The second dream is where I am in this huge old house, Like an old mansion. I can't get out of the house and there is this entity after me, and I am not talking normal ghost here, It's paralyzing in the dream like when it closes in on you, you can feel it coming at you from all sides and you can't talk or move but you can't see it you can only feel it.
I have woke up from that dream terrified and almost hyperventilating more then once.
I know they are odd dreams but I could really use any input you can give, serious input. Not the typical your a wacko answer alot of you want to give most people.

I've been hearing that Satanists don't really believe in Satan (or God), but they just use his name because they like the idea of not following rules, and doing whatever they think will give them more success and pleasure in life, not caring whether it is "immoral" or not. Is this true about all Satanists, or are there some that actually believe in Satan, and worship him?
