Without sounding cynical / skeptical I would say the largest religion is Secularism which is roughly the pursuit of worldly happiness and godless delight. Money is revered as God and is the only thing that can bring happiness. The high priests are those who dictate where all the money should go, where to get em from and how to keep em so that they and their progeny can continue to become priests til kingdom come. More people visit the soccer stadium, the picture theatres, the clubs, bars and the corporate towers than they do churches, mosques, temples and synagogues. How many times do you go to these religious temples as compared to the former mentioned worldly temples?
So tell me, is secularism not the largest religion in the world?

According to estimates, 33% are Christian (2.1 billion, half of them are Catholics); 21% are Muslims (1.3 billion); 16% are non-religion (atheist, agnostic, simply don't care, etc); 900 million Hindu (14%); Chinese religions 394 million (6%); and so on. Judaism is 14 million with 0.22% of the world's population. Naturally how many of those are TRUE followers, and how many are pressured by the government to be the listed religion, is of course debatable.
