Why did the Prophet Mohammed tell his followers that if you "mingle your affairs with theirs then they are your brothers"? Now Mohammed's followers -Islam- seemed to have substituted the word kill for mingle and the word infidel for brothers? It sounds funny in English, but in the translation the words seem interchangable and it makes sense. Bottom line: What God who claims to be a loving God wants his children and followers to act as demons and destroy instead of create? I am NOT bashing here, merely wondering. Do Not answer unless you have something constructive and sane to say with peace and love at the core of your response. Thank you.

I'm 3 days late and no period yet, but I tested with an HPT this morning with first morning urine, and it says negative. I checked my cervix, and it seems very low and soft. What can this mean? What should the cervical postion be 3 days after a missed period? Thanks!

I work in a call centre as well, but mine is an inbound centre, meaning that people call ME. I don't call ANYONE. I got a call the other day where someone as trying to sell me cookbooks. I waited for the person to do their opening which was about 1 minute and 30 seconds long. Then I said, "sorry I'm not interested, have a good day." and hung up. That was an aweful lot for that person to say for a hang up. If any telemarketer is out there, I would just like to know, would you rather being cut off and hung up on right away or would you just like to get what you say out before I hang up??

Yeah... that whole thing about god making man in his own image.... Just what is that supposed to mean?

Afterall... it can't be on the basis of appearance, unless god has a nose, a mouth, two eyes, two arms and legs.... etc.... We are visible and god isn't....
It can't be on the basis of perfection nor absolute benevolance, nor forgiveness... because we as humans don't show any of those traits. We're metaphysically short-sighted, aggressive, selfish etc.
We cannot create things ex nihilo... so that can't be it... though we do seem to break things down into their component forms quite often.
Its certainly not a matter of position if we're all supposed to be grovelling before the G-dude.... We even operate under different rules, since its a good thing when god destroys, but its totally wrong for us.


So basically.... if we are neither like god in form nor function.... and effectively have nothing at all in common with 'him', then how are we in his image?

Portia is in the Merchant of Venice and Desdemona is in the Tragedy of Othello (by Shakespeare).

I am going to compare and contrast Portia and Desdemona for my research paper and your answers would be one part of my research( as a questioner) ,so,

He is in his early 20's and he has to take pills for erectile dysfuntion.
He is on Cialis. But when ever he takes them, his legs hurt, and it doesn't have much of an effect on his penis. He gets a bed headache, and his kidneys hurt too. I believe he has a "Fractured Penis". His doctor won't help him, and in this small town we live in there isn't too many to choose from. And we don't have alot of money to see a specialist. What would be causing this to happen? What could he take to help him?
