Actually, more times than not it will be the Tiger. It's a common misconception that the Lion is the "King of the jungle" How many times on Discovery channel do they show lions in the jungle? 0 They're always on the safari. The tiger is actually larger and more agressive. The tiger wins.

The tiger would win, the lion is used to 'fighting' with a group of other lions, whereas tigers are solitary and can are able to defend and fight for themselves. Tigers are also much larger. A female tiger(265-400lbs) would outweigh a female lion(260-330 average 275lbs), and a male tiger(440-700) would outweigh a male lion(330-500lbs, average being 410).

my friend nick said the lion will win.
because the lion is a social animal who fights for social dominance.
the tiger only hunts for food.
so the tiger doesn't really understand fighting something that isn't food. but the lion does. so the tiger goes for the throat only.
the lion will injure a paw first...

everyone thinks it would be the lion since they have such a scary reputation.........but tigers have been killing men in asia for a very long time........
the simple reason why a tiger would win is SIZE.........tigers outweigh lions by at least 100 pounds........sometimes as much as 300 pounds depending on the species.......they are simply much bigger and stronger.......with bigger jaws......and bigger paws.......too big and too strong......thats all its about in nature......animals dont study martial arts or workout in the gym....all they have is what nature gives them.....and tigers are stronger so they would win.......

Lion of course,Panthera Leo is the king of the jungle,and do you watch Wildlife Documentaries do you see how massive they attack other animals.
