Doctor dave had slept with one of his patients & felt really guilty, no matter how much he tried to forget the sense of betrayal was overwhelming, but very once in a while he would hear a reassuring inner voice say

"Dave don't worry about it you are not the first doctor to sleep with one of his patients, you wont be the last, you are single, just let it go"

But invariably the other voice would bring him back to reality whispering

I have an Ibannez RG model electric guitar. When I changed the strings, I noticed that the 1st string wasn't emitting any sound when plugged into the amp after the 6th fret. Is this due to the string or what? Should I go take it to a guitar shop and have it looked at? All the other strings play just fine. Thanks for any advice!

What does it mean when someone who used to talk to you a lot, and even gave you their phone number, just stops talking to you that much, and just doesn't seem to care for you much anymore? If you feel in your heart that something's different, then is it? This isn't with anyone in a romantic sense. Just a friend. She just seems to purposely ignore me lately. Where as 2 weeks ago, she was really talkative and everything. Did I do something to offend her and not even realize it? I've been nothing but nice to her.

My car is a 2003 Mazda 6(V6 manual trans). Last weekend, I couldn't start my car (dead battery). So I popped my clutch in gear while the car was rolling to get it to start. The next morning, I went to start my car (it started, but it was hard), and drove to autozone to get a battery.

On the way, my CEL came on flashing, the car was stalling at lights, and a very prevalent tick developed, thats frequency increases with RPM. When I got to autozone (less than a mile away), I changed the battery, checked the oil (was about 1/2 a quart low, so I added it). It was still stalling and ticking, but no check engine light anymore. So I added some Chevron fuel sys.cleaner.

Got it back, disconnected my battery for 24 hours, and started it again. The stalling issue was gone, but the ticking still remains. I haven't started the car in a few days since its at home. A week before this I also had 2 CEL's, one for a misfire and one for a bad cat or downstream O2 sensor. Any thoughts?

I've recently set up a website aimed at getting some kitties that live on the street near my place into homes. It has live streaming video of the kitties needing homes at night, and my kitties in the day. For awhile I was getting a good response, but now it's quietened down, and I need to figure out how to get it happening again! Ideas?? Hello . I have a 4 yr old son that just started preschool 3 weeks ago . He is a hyper child . I am having trouble and dont know what to do about him . As of yesterday he just got on a 10 day probation . If he doesnt change he will be removed from class. I am a wreck . Acedemically he seams well but behaviorally and socially he isnt. He has very good days but then very bad days . One day the teacher says he is showing signs of improvemnt the next she is ready to kick him out . He is having problems listening , following (understanding) orders and doesnt understand a no touching rule as in dont grab a childs hand and play hard . He doesnt hit. I dont think he will start kindergarden next yr cause he is way immature in school setting but dont know what to do as him learning those settings . If teachers always kick children out that need this how do they learn and what do i do . Its hard not to blame myself trying to think if I did something wrong. This will hurt him deeply

The reality is that I'm forced to finish up my job to become a full time carer for my disabled wife.
My employer requires me to work a 4 week notice period if I resign, but I can't really do that as my wife needs me now, not in 4 weeks time.
What would be the consequences if I just turned up one day and said "Here's my ID tag, locker key and car pass. I won't be back in again because my wifes needs are greater than the company's"?

I think the church could readily be classified as a services type of business so if you made it's catalogue (the bible) subject to the Trades Descriptions Act, as other businesses catalogues and brochures are, what would be left?

What do you have to look for in a puppy? I mean health etc. I looked at a puppies today, they all had protuding stomachs, big fleas and they shook like leaves. Is this something you have to avoid? At how many weeks can you de-flea a dog? I was shocked to see that the mother dog and another dog were tied up in the garden "because they chase chicken", this was a cold winter day. Is this cruel?

I am the main caretaker of my 4 year old niece. She is currently property of the LA county court and we are in a custody battle. The court will not allow us to spank. I have tried everything. Here is a list:
1. Took her toys away
2. Put her in timeout (1 min. for her age so total of 4min.)
Longer if the crime is bigger.
3. explained to her that if we are mean to people ,people will be mean to her, if we are nice...if we give attitude....etc...
4. had her write ten times her crime (the thing she did wrong)
Example: I will not throw sand....I will not hit.....etc.
5. Yes I threaten with the police (I used this because she tried jumping out of the car in the freeway thank god for child locks)
I explained to her police are trained to teach people not to do bad.
6. I used the talking method were I simply talked to her and hoped she'd understand.
7. I have completely striped her from all her belongings.
8. I have ignored her and walked away when tantrums accrue.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
