a man adjusting legal status in the U.S. (in process)..but still dont have ss# and of course not yet green card, is it possible that he could get drivers license while defines its situation?

Uh, no. Sorry dude. Try and find a work visa employer (please go about it the right way, I hope you are not deported. That would be unfortunate). Talk to family and others who have immigrated for more info.
