Ok, here's the deal. Met a guy 4 years ago, moved from Texas to Michigan to be with him and we eventually became engaged. I was lucky enough to be transferred with my job, he was unemployed but looking. After the strain of being in a relationship I felt was a one-sided effort (financially speaking), we split and he moved back home with his parents. I moved into a smaller apartment and have continued to live here, but last month I lost my job. He and I have continued to date, and we are very close....I do love him, but I feel he uses being sick (he's diabetic) as a mean of getting out of looking for work. The job market here is scarce, and with my finances draining I am faced with having to possibly move back to Texas. Part of me wants to stay, but his attitude is like, "if your gonna go, not much I can do". I feel if he deep down loved me, he would do everything, including getting a job. Should I go home and chalk this up to a bad experience or stick it out?

I heard that JFK held a majority of the beliefs in 50's and 60's that the conservative (Republican) party has today. For example: pro-life, smaller government, community volunteering versus big government helping people out, fiscal conservatism, and stopping the spread of communism and facism (he had the commies in Cuba - today we have radical Islamic Fundamentalists). They concluded that if JFK were alive today he would be considered a conservative based on his idealogy in the 50's-60's.

Interesting notion - what do you think??

on/off relationship:i was doing the dumping bc he was moody/careless sometimes(talked about how hot other girls were).he sed he did it bc it seemed like i didn't care n he liked when girls get jealous bc it shows that they care.sometimes(when i dump him and ask to get back together) he says he wants to be good friends and other times(when i'm moving on)he looks @ me all starry-eyed and asks me if i want a relationship.this happened about 3 times since he last dumped me.we're in college but that really has nothing to do with it,except i really love him which is why i keep sticking with him,but i get the feeling that i'm just temporary,like something to keep him company while he browses around.used to be serious but i dumped him for 5months n now he's less serious. dumped him last night bc i caught him checking out another girl,and this morning he said that he didn't want a relationship.some girl told him that he should come hang out at this spot that he normally hates and he said yes

Im 20 and im currently in college to be a nurse. At my school you have to apply to the nursing program b-cuz it's really good. So because i was one class short i cant apply to go next fall i would have to wait untill fall of 2008. I have 4 more pre-requisite classes and then im done untill i actually get in the program. So that means i have almost two years to take 4 classes. What i want to do is get a joba and everyone agrees with that but i want to go to this 8-week program to be a certified nurses aide and then get a job. I thin that would be smart because it would be in my feild and would give experience and would pay me more than getting a job at like a grocery store or some thing. My mother and my boyfriend disagree. My mom thinks its stupid for me to give them my money (1,000) to learn stuff im going to have to learn anyway and my BF thinks just because i go to the clases it doesn't garentee i will get a job. What do you think. Thanks

I have a friend who just had a baby and the paternal grandmother told her that patting a baby to burp it makes the baby jumpy and hostile. She proceeded to say that you have to rub the baby's back to burp him so that he will be a calm babay when he grows up. I have 3 kids and have never heard of this. Is this b/s or what?

I have visible pores/white heads on my nose and surrounding area. My pores are clogged with dirt/oil. I can literally use tweezers and squeeze out the dirt from my nose. But they become clogged everyday. I have used a few products including nutregena toners, cleansers and mositurizers to remove them. But have had no luck.

Getting caught is 1 thing......What if he felt Soooooooo bad that he just blurts it out because its killing him. And remember, you had NO IDEA he did anything wrong AT ALL !!!
