notes(money)in the street and kept it because it came with no-way of identifying the owner?how much and what did u do with it.

I found $20 in a washing machine at the laundromat in college. I believe I paid a parking ticket with it. Other than that, just quarters, things like that.

The only time I found money in the street was when I was 10 years old and came across a ten dollar bill (after coming from the store to buy "penny-candy." I thought it was fake money and picked it up, planning to play a trick on someone. My friend was with me and insisted I unfold it to see if it was indeed real. It was and I quickly hid it so that no one would know I found it and come to claim it. I ran home and showed it to my mom, who kept it for me for about two weeks, thinking a neighbor might come around asking if anyone had found money. No one did, so she allowed me to spend it. Ten dollars back then was a LOT of money, so I felt pretty lucky and never thought someone would miss it. :)

Once I was walking down the street and saw a green folded piece of paper laying on the sidewalk with a number one on it. I picked it up and unfolded it thinking that it was only a dollar and saw that it was a hundred. There was nobody else on the street that could have dropped it so I took it home and split it with my destitute Mom.

of course. once, i found $24 in ones in the gutter in front of my house. we had had a blizzard and over the course of a week i found all the dollars poking thru the snow. it was so funny. other than that, i think the most i ever found was $5. i found $20 in a store once and gave it to the cashier cause someone watched me pick it up and i felt bad. but once a kid came up to me at my work and said he found $5, i told him he could keep it for being so honest since we couldnt figure out who had lost it.

when i was 15 my friend and i were outside her house. her neighbor was a drug dealer. we found almost 2000 dollars laying in the street with a rubberband on it. of course we were young n stupid so we just bought lots of clothes beer and xtc had a crazy party

ya i found $300 in a bank envelope outside walmrt and kept it!
