In his Kingly role as an agent for God Almighty did Jesus tell his twelve disciples what to do? Or were the band of disciples more like a Committee and Jesus was the Chairman?

A carpenter, probably a guild member, so most likely a democrat.

This is an interesting question. It is very easy to answer though because Jesus Christ is a spiritual being. He would never be concerned with common politics and materialism. He is beyond the political level. The spiritual is always very high and not touchable. So yes, Jesus Christ did indeed tell his disciples what direction in which they should go. He also was the Chairman as no one can overthrow the essence of God. I leave this thought with you - "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

Aha !
In my book, Jesus was the leader of his disciples, so yes, "chairman" if you like. Although one member of the committee proved difficult.
However, doing the big gig on the mount showed a lot more about the chap for example. And various other episodes..
Given the opportunity to go back in time, and speak Aramaic, I would ask Jesus what his plans were.
They worked, anyway!
I copied the "walking on water" stunt on a shallow pond.
It was not the "second coming", as I fell in.
Great fan of The Lord, though.

He was probably a theocrat, and he was the "King of Kings" but not a real King. If he was the son of God, something he seemed to shy away from than he is heir to the kingdom of heaven, but then he said we are all heirs to the kingdom of heaven and all children of God. But that may mean he was more of libertarian than a democrat (not the political parties, but the ideologies). He claimed he would "set us free". I think he wanted each man and woman to be master of themselves and servants to others. That is still NOT a democracy where majority voice rules minority, it is an egalitarian socialist liberal.

But, to be quite frank he was none of the above, because these political options were not available to him. Most people would say he was a spiritual leader and not a political one. I think he was both.

quiet down the refrain, attempt to no longer enable your collective karma run over your put in dogma. it is a superbly valid question. it is extremely sparkling that the character all of us be attentive to as Jesus, replaced into an somewhat political animal. To me it has continuously been sparkling that he replaced into the Arch-Proto-Marxist-Trotskyist. returned, till now the refrain all leap up in protest, do no longer confuse the Soviet, or the chinese language, experiments in communism with what Marx wrote in Das Kapital. In the two situations, Lenin, observed via the disastrous Stalin, contained in relation to the Soviets, and Mao Dse Dung ( sure, the D works merely besides by way of fact the T in transliterating chinese language to English ! ) with the chinese language, those people went an prolonged way off the rails of what Marx proposed. The commune led via the discern of Yashua bin Jusef, which replaced into possibly, for a time, the Qumran contract of lifeless Sea Scrolls repute, had an somewhat comparable concepts to Marxism. The pooling of things, sharing of artwork in accordance to skill, the upkeep of a easy handbag, with which to pay all debts to outdoors society. Marx wrote "From each in accordance to their means, and to each in accordance to their desires". If that doesn't sound Jesus-like what does ?

Jesus was a messenger of God and not his son. God does not have a son, a wife or a parents. God is ONE and ONLY! Virgin Mary was Jesus mother. Jesus will be coming back to liberate the world from Evil people (either Republican, Democrats...)

Jesus Christ was the Son of God. People folled him and believed in him. He gave commands but didnt really 'tell them what to do'. Commitee and a chairman?? Are you crazy?? :-S

I like your question. Of course we can`t be sure, but if you read the Gospels it is easy to see him as their leader not as the ruler. The teachings show a care and share approach to others ( treat your neighbour as yourself.........etc ) No political party reaches these goals, some try harder than others. You choose.

Neither, He is the son of God. He never ruled yet everyone called him king. He was not a doctor yet everyone called him Healer, He never worked in a school yet everyone called him teacher. He never commited a crime yet they called him a criminal. He is the Messiah sent by God.
