I have a weekend home alone with just my mom and it's totally free so I was wondering what some DIY gifts are I can make for christmas. I'm 14 and so are all my girlfriends. Also I have a mom, dad, and 3 little brothers (7, 9, and 12). Any idea's on appealing gifts to create.

and you stop, do the nail beds get longer? I'm a chronic nibbler, and my nail beds are short, so when I grow my nails, the white parts are really long before my nails reach the ends of my fingers. What I want to know is, will the nail beds ever grow out again, or am I stuck with this? Anyone ever experience this?

In one ad they had a sexy voiced woman act like a sex hot line babe. The Democrat in question had an aide misdial a number to
Washington DC. Same number only wrong area code. The mistake cost tax payers $1.25. The ad made it look like the candidate had called a sex line number when he had not, and of course the Republicans knew it. He had not spent taxpayers money talking to a 1 800 sex babe. The Republicans ran an ad with a blond white woman saying " call me" to senator to be Harold Ford, implying that being black, all he wanted to do was to have sex with a white woman. How much more racist can you get? Finally, they ran an ad that said that democrats wanted to abort black babies. Democrats have had their share of attack ads as well, but the Republicans are masters at it. That is why they are in power. Republicans claim to be the party of moral authority. Can this be true when they will say anything to cling to power?

I happen not to have a single decent pair of socks available in my closet. For some reason they are "worn" ... what's the word.... stretched? loose... they look silly when using shorts.

The question is, why do they spoil so quickly.. I think I use them once and they are done. I'm the only one in my family with this "problem" ...

Alright, please give me ur best advice. Both this girl and I are college students and i see this girl twice a week. Im going to see her in class tomorrow and im super nervous cuz im falling for her. We've havent been talking much, the last time i talked to her was last week and it was amazing, i felt this chemistry. She just broke up with her bf and i have no clue what to do. I want to ask her out and get her # but i dont know how to ask her, I dont want to be like "Hey can i get ur number?" that seems too dumb to say. I really like this girl, but i dont want to blow it. All the guys are telling me just ask her out but its not that simple, she just got out of a 1 year relationship. Her friend thinks we should hook up cuz we're both single but how..how do i ask this girl out?!? I dont want to make her think "oh my god this guy likes me" and scare her off you know? I think Im falling for my ex girlfriend. It ended good, and we're both still friends, but we don't have much contact with each other except a random texts/calls here and there (we live about 20 mins. apart).
