my period was oct 17th. going to take test wend the 8th, thinkit will show up then if i am?

Good luck if that is what you want. Just glad it is not mine because at 67 my grandchild is enough for me and my wife just wouldn't believe me if I said it was mine, she would just laugh.

Not likely. Usually you have to wait until 3 days before your expected period. If you run a 28 day cycle, that means you'd be due around the 13th and you'd be safer (as far as wasting that too expensive pregnancy test) to take it on the 10th or 11th. But it all depends on your cycle. If you run 30 days, I'd wait until the 12th or 13th. And even then, you may get a false negative.

It depends on how much HCG you have in your body. Chances are you will most likely get a negative. The best time to test is the day of your missed period. Good luck.

I would wait until your period is late then take the test.

It should. get a first responce test, those ones show a few days earlier than most other tests
