Idaho and Utah still use the firing squad.

Interesting question.. The Japanese use to behead in WWII. Torture has been used by all in any war. What is ok is something that does not harm the body in any way that would cause harm in the future. A free or Democratic government does not give up the right to torture. Yes, it is done differently, and no future harm should happen. America has always cared and tried to rescue their wounded, many Countries consider the wounded as usless! If I had the job of, so-called, torturing someone that we caught in terrorist plot, I would think of things like 9/11 and think of what this person was going to do! We do not live in a world that supports peace. We live in a world that some Muslims say needs cleansing! All that oppose that faith should die or accept! I will not as the forcing of anyone is not God! I am sure He wants all to have choice! God bless. Earl

All those methods do dies are too good for them
Life, without parole in a TRUE prison - not the country club prisons that we have now - BRING BACK ALCATRAZ! They live BETTER that most of us on the outside. Gym, 3 square meals, free education, free clothing, free housing, freedom to roam around the prison almost at will, the ability to earn money.
For the child molesters and the rapers, torture like the Japanese did in WWII. Sticks under the fingernails, water torture, come to mind...

a simple "go behind the wall and we;lll shoot you behind the head to make it painless" is nice, cheap, but messy. Electric chair wastes a LOT of money. And all those opposed to the DP are verry ignorant. It is a sign of strength, non-toleration of evil things, and makes room for people who dont have the DP to stay in jail. Without the DP, we would be in a much worse position than we already are in.

I would like to see something slower and more painful for the real scumbags. Most of the methods are too fast, let's see "flogging to death" out on the courthouse lawn. I bet crime would drop right off then.

I like hanging myself. its cheap and you can use the rope again. I didn't know the firing squad was still in use. Good for whatever state does that.

Good question, I would choose the US Lethal Injection. More human if done properly.

I would take convict out for a nature walk and then at a certain point of time I would just push him over the cliff.
