Has your child ever experienced these? My son had one for the first time last night and we took him to the ER. He's fine now, but that was really frightening. He had the flu shot yesterday and the docs said that it was from the fever from that. I am taking him to his PCP Monday for a check up.
I was just wondering what information people had to offer on this.....

A blonde from California decides to try horseback riding, even though she has had no lessons or prior experience. She mounts the horse unassisted and the horse immediately springs into motion. It gallops along at a steady and rhythmic pace, but the blonde begins to slip from the saddle.

In terror, she grabs for the horse's mane, but cannot seem to get a firm grip. She tries to throw her arms around the horse's neck, but
she slides down the side of the horse anyway. The horse gallops along, seemingly oblivious to its slipping rider. Finally, giving up her frail grip, she leaps away from the horse to try and throw herself to safety.

Unfortunately, her foot has become entangled in the stirrup, she is now at the mercy of the horse's pounding hooves as her head is struck against the ground over and over. As her head is battered against the ground, she is mere moments away from unconsciousness when to her great fortune . . . the Supermarket manager sees her and shuts the horse off.

I've just never been able to take things on faith alone, or even with faith as the primary reason. It seems to me that believing something to be true on faith is a justification for irrationality. And believing things to be true without referring to logic and evidence seems to me like a detachment from reality, and is a symptom of psychological disorders that often involve delusional thinking (Paranoid Schizophrenia or Erotomania for instance). I don't mean to say that religious people are crazy. I personally know many of them to be very sane, intelligent and highly functional members of society. But I just don't understand how one can have faith as the underpinning for their belief system and be OK with it.

I'm getting married next year, and I'm planning on buying a new car. My existing car hasn't been reliable and my fiance can't drive it, since it has a stick shift.

I have narrowed my choices down to 4 vehicles...Camry SE w/v6, Accord SE w/V6, Ridgeline RT, or Tacoma Doublecab SB w/V6.

Deep down, I think that a sedan is more practical for a lot of reasons. That is, they get better mileage, acceleration, handling, etc.

On the other hand, if I were to go with the vehicle I like best, it would be one of the pickups. Plus, I think that it would definately come in handy to have a bed to throw things in without having to worry about messing up the interior (as in my fiance's SUV).

I'd just like to get some other peoples' thoughts on this...

I was just wondering if I was the only one that this happens to, but I often find myself thinking about other things while my husband and I have having sex. Wether it being bills, the kids and what I have to do for them, shopping(Christmas, grocery, ect.), you know just everday ordinary stuff. It doesnt happen everytime, I feel bad that it does happen because my husband and I dont get to have "our" time that much, if you know what I mean. So we have to get it when the goin is good. I just think that my whole attention should be givin to him while we are making love in the short times that we have to ourselves and nothing else. Please some one help me out and let me know what everyone else goes through. We have two beautiful daughters together and I wouldnt change it for the world.

My best friend's infant died earlier this year from SIDS, she's been having a really hard time dealing with this and other things. waitted for half an hour then orderd then ate then left at quarter too. The person stated that he had over slept:;-meeting for the first time! Then I called and hearing the answering machine pick up, ihung up without a message rendered.Never had I recieve a call but an e,mail afterwards. Nevertheless, hes wondering why Im not speaking with him.

That Beth, you know, the one everyone loves to hate lol...from the MTV Real World/Road Rules Challenge is 37. She does not look like she's 37 at all! Not that 37 is old, but I just assumed she was in her 20's. I'm just wondering if most of the participants on that show, are around that age?
