I'm getting married next year, and I'm planning on buying a new car. My existing car hasn't been reliable and my fiance can't drive it, since it has a stick shift.

I have narrowed my choices down to 4 vehicles...Camry SE w/v6, Accord SE w/V6, Ridgeline RT, or Tacoma Doublecab SB w/V6.

Deep down, I think that a sedan is more practical for a lot of reasons. That is, they get better mileage, acceleration, handling, etc.

On the other hand, if I were to go with the vehicle I like best, it would be one of the pickups. Plus, I think that it would definately come in handy to have a bed to throw things in without having to worry about messing up the interior (as in my fiance's SUV).

I'd just like to get some other peoples' thoughts on this...

If the truck will meet your needs and fit your family, even as it grows and that is a possibility, that will be your best bet.

Personally, I would buy domestic, something like a small to medium sized pickup, ie. Chevy Colorado, Dodge Dakota, maybe a Ranger extended cab, etc... the rice burners might get slightly better MPG but wait till you need something fixed that's not covered...but...I digress.

If you're going to pick from the ones you mentioned, go with the Tacoma. Good interior room plus the short bed for light hauling.
