ok i used to kknow how to do it but i forgot, i used to go to start then run and aftr that i forgoth what it was, it wasent regedit, but ofr some reson i think it had sys or config in it but i just want to get a cuple of programs off of start up like aol, aim, windows messenger and kodac any help would be appricated

its msconfig for the startup programs

While you can use the windows program msconfig, you will find the start up manager included in the free spybot search & destroy program, a much more powerful tool.

start>run>type in "msconfig" without the quotes

Start menu>Run: type "regedit" >click ok

also :

Start menu>Run: type "gpedit.msc" >click ok

type without quote
