waitted for half an hour then orderd then ate then left at quarter too. The person stated that he had over slept:;-meeting for the first time! Then I called and hearing the answering machine pick up, ihung up without a message rendered.Never had I recieve a call but an e,mail afterwards. Nevertheless, hes wondering why Im not speaking with him.

I think you did the rite thing half and hour late for a first date is quite long enough. My pet hate is people not showing up on time whether it be a date of just meeting for coffee.

I think you have already acknowledged being stood up. I would not talk to the guy either, unless he comes up with a really ingenious way of apologizing.

Stupid is as stupid does you however are not stupid and do not deserve to be treated as such. No one can treat you in any way that you disallow. Well done to you, and a good lesson to him, maybe next time around he will show a little more respect, if he doesn't he'll be one lonely old boy.

Well you may not want to hear this but he may have been with another woman. That would make him forget your meeting.
And how is he going to explain that. So he says nothing.
At least that is one possibility. Trust him again? Well if you don't mind eating alone maybe.

If he calls again, and if you are interested, arrange another time to meet. If he doesn't show up, forget about him for good.
