In Fall of 1994, I was a Liberal Arts student at the Univeristy of Louisiana, Lafayette. I had to read a book in my English class. I remember the main character was a boy named Sonny, the story took place in New Orleans in up town, and there was a death in the family and the body was kept in the house till the funeral...does anyone remember reading this book, know the title or know where I could get a copy? I remember I had to buy the book from the Professor....but I don't remember the Professor's name.

If you have watched Simpsons Halloween Episode, Homer sings this song when he rides Cow Flanders. He says In the Jungle, creepy jungle, Homer rides the freak. Yeah; so I know that's not real song cause it was in Simpsons episode; but its tuning is very similar. So please tell me even if you have a hint of it.

I have severe asthma, so my doctor has recommended a flu shot (With my asthma the way it is, the flu can easily turn into pneumonia). I'm a little scared of it. Some people say you can get the flu from it. Other people think that it's a dead version of the virus that causes the flu and there's no danger. What do y'all think?

For women in their twenties...?

I am curious to see how your thoughts process works when getting involved with a man. What things are more important early on and what things do not become important until things get more serious. What are deal breakers for you (other than the obvious he is married, etc) and what types of things on a first impression will really turn you off...I know its complex, but I am confident in todays woman to give some thoughtful answers!!! I can tell you i know what a child can bring you. I have a 5 year old son and i love him so much and do not ever regret having him but i wasn't a teenager when i had him.

I think abortion is a choice that all women have.

If there were something bad wrong with the baby and would suffer a horrible life and death then yes i would have an abortion.

If my life were in danger because of the baby then yes i would have an abortion because i wouldn't want to leave my son motherless.

If i were raped then yes i would have an abortion.

I just think people shouldn't judge the ones that get or want abortion cause until you walk a mile in their shoes then how can you say you don't know how they feel/felt to have to choose?

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost 4 months he went through a rough past and i understand he's nice caring and loving but when it gets to us arguing about something he doesn't want to deal with it or say nothing about it like he makes it seem like nothing happened and i don't know what to do and he says he's not going to go through it again with me and he says he loves me and all and he CARES about me but i dunno im confused because when he hangs up on me or walks away from the argument it makes it seem like HE DOESN'T CARE what should i do i need help ?

My gent & I got married in a private ceremony at the courthouse three years ago right before he was deployed. Most of my family didn't hear about it until afterwards. (and we somewhat insluted by it.) At the 5 year mark we want to have a more public renewal, BUT what to expect? Since most of the vows renewals in my family take place on the 50th year they tend to be a big to-do. We cannot afford this.
Any suggestions?
