I can tolerate Joe Buck although I will say he is different on national broadcasts like that versus a regular game or when he is being interviewed. He will never be his dad and sometimes I think he is trying too hard to "be his own man" and he tries to sound like he is not rooting for the Cards. I am sure this series was emotional for him. He was in the booth with his dad when the Cards won in 1982--"That's a Winner!"

I have to wonder why he doesn't slap McCarver up side of the head sometimes. I don't remember what it was, but last night, McCarver made some remark about the game that every kid who plays little league knows. (Why do some broadcasters think they have to explain everything or talk down to fans?)

I hate Joe Buck and Tim McCarver. But unless FOX doesn't get the WS again (which they will) we are doomed to listen to Joe.

Joe Buck I could take...It's Tim McCarver with his bits and trivia that is rough to listen to on a continual basis.

I found the broadcasting to be somewhat painful to listen to - their comments and analysis were incredibly superficial and dull. I'm not sure if they were watering down their analysis for a larger national audience or whether they really are that bland, since I don't watch many Fox broadcasts during the regular season.

I don't thinks he's that bad. But I think sometimes he's in La La Land. Someone hit a homerun later in the game and he said "It's off the wall". I'm like, it didn't hit the wall. It was gone.
