Believe in vampires:

Its kind of fun and you get to dress up in lots of black and heavy make-up and really get swept up in the plot of Anne Rice books.

Not believe in vampires:

Have you ever seen any scientific evidende that proves, or even suggests, the existence of immortal human beings that live solely off the blood of other human beings and explode in the sunlight.

There are modern vampires though who get together, wear a lot of black and drink each other's blood, though I think this is more of a psycho-sexual role play kind of thing than an undead children of the night kind of thing.

Believe in them because they are real. No I'm not talking about the ones see on movies that live forever or anything like that, but there are several types of vampire the top two are Sang (Blood drinking vampires) and Psi (Vampires that feed off of energy). A lot of different vampires branch from the Psi such as Elemental, Sexual, and several others that I cant remember. We do not burn in the sun garlic does not hurt us neither do crosses, and anyone would die from a steak through the heart. We do live slightly longer than humans maybe by two or three years, we are slightly stronger, faster, and have a better pain resistance.

If you have any more question E-mail me.

Be a Believer: Vampires exude an aura of sensuality and power. They truly are the masters of the world and have no limits to what they can do. And daywalkers are even more powerful being able to go out in the sun, touch silver and only a stake through the heart or decapitation. Plus it's always fun to have a little bit of the supernatural in your life.

Take the probability test.
Heres why you should believe. Just because you haven't seen it, doesnt mean it doesnt exist. We know there are vampire bats. Why is it so hard to believe that vampires (in some form or other) exist. answer the questions in the link to see if your a vampire.

If there were really such a thing as Immortal Vampires legend or the current new breed of Vampires there would be a waiting list to become one. After all, what's the downside, you can't go out in the sunlight and you have to drink blood but you gain supernatural powers and get to live forever, well people would be lining up. Of course there are those goth people who think they are Vampires and sleep in caskets and pretend to need to drink blood, and some actually do. Not to mention all the supposed Werewolves, I wonder if there are any Wererabbits? Oh well, as long as they don't actually hurt anybody...

Believe in Vampires:

You should believe because they do exist, there is a sickness called Porphyria which has been suggested as an explanation for the origin of vampire and werewolf legends, based upon a number of similarities between the condition and the folklore that was first speculated upon by biochemist David Dolphin in 1985. His ruminations gave rise to a popular urban legend which accepts this association as factual, though it is historically and factually baseless. Porphyria cutanea tarda presents clinically as a pathological sensitivity of skin exposed to light causing scarring, hair growth and disfiguration. Additionally, it was believed that the patients' missing heme could be absorbed through the stomach, correlating with the legends' hematophagy.

You shouldn't believe:

Because they don't exist as creatures of the night that transform themselves into wolves or bats. Those stories came from folk tales and myths derived from the actual existance of Vlad Dracul or Vlad de Impaler, a savage king who was merciless and quite brutal with both enemies and friends alike.

Why should you believe in vampires? -- well, vampires are really cool, basically. Vampires are myths and legends and legends are based on some facts, no matter how absurd it may be. In my opinion, i think it started with the Countess who killed people to bathe, drink, and eat them. There are also people who live by night and actually BELIEVE that they are vampires, though i do not know if they drink human blood, or not. Also, there is a version of the vampire in many different cultures and it must have started somewhere. I mean, how can cultures so diverse come up with something so similar?

Why should you NOT believe in Vampires? --You shouldn't believe in vampires because when you come down to it, there is no such thing as vampires. There is no one in this world who can live forever. People (or "vampires") do not disappear in sunlight or sparkle in sunlight or any of that. There isn't anyone that goes around sucking people's blood. We don't have people who can fly. We don't have people who have super strength or super speed. It's the facts. No matter how much you WANT to believe in them, they are not real.

As for my PERSONAL opinion on vampires, I think they're AWESOME!!!

The people that were labled Vampires were..:

People with a Disease or Virus where they would cough up THERE OWN BLOOD in their sleep.

The People buried ALIVE because they weren't really dead and were buried too quickly to wake up. [ A Reminder SOME Doctors suck]

People in Comas.

Dead Corpses that had filled up a bit with gas or fluid.. or some combo, so when they were stabbed they made a noise,.. this was normal anyways.

Current Vampires:

Are Hobbiest.

Are people that recognize they DO HAVE blood disorder and have gotten so use to stereotypes and junk they have decided to become Vampires and suck the blood out of volunteers and lovers some times.

Are people with real diseases and viruses that need Blood Transfusions or certain parts of of Blood put into their bodies, they do this by appointments their doctors set up.

A person in Make Up.

Here is the short of it. Vampires do exist. It is a health condition that prevents some people from enjoying sunlight. They are actually forced to live their lives at night. It is a medical disorder. My girl friend's daughter is married to a young man who has this condition. His mother also has the condition. They are not able to come out during the day light hours. Makes them sick. There are also some who choose to drink the blood of others. They prefer the blood of diabetics because the blood is sweeter. I think people should be concerned about this personal choice because of AIDS and HCV. Not that is is easy to catch either merely by drinking someones blood but if you have bad gums you could contract these illnesses.

sailortin and scotter have the right idea. the physical vampires are people with a rare medical condition of the mind/blood.
Holly wood type vampires do not exist.
the only other type of physical vampire is the physic ones that drain your energy not your blood. you've probably been around them without knowing about it as all you will feel is drained and overtired after being close to them.some know what their doing the rest don't .
