I want to cook dinner for my boyfriend Friday night. I've cooked for him before and I'm a pretty good cook, but I don't have any good cookbooks to find something new to cook. I'm looking for any ideas for a romantic dinner. Nothing with seafood though, I'm allergic. Thanks.

Yes, the Secure Fences Act of 2006 which passed both houses of Congress -- is sitting in some “In Box”... if it has reached the White House, it must be lost on President Bush's desk!

The President did sign an appropriations bill that allocates $1.2 billion in funding to the Department of Homeland Security – funds that you and your fellow Americans were led to believe was earmarked for the construction of the fence!

The truth??!!! Read that appropriations bill and discover they authorized $1.2 billion ON AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT BILL which DOESN'T HAVE TO BE SPENT ON THE FENCE AT ALL!

If the AMNESTY and OPEN BORDERS politicians win the majority in the House, the amnesty flood of illegal aliens over the border will surely inundate our nation.

Our borders are not secured and our grossly undermanned Border Patrol will continue to be overwhelmed. The chain migration of family members of those who have entered America illegally from throughout the world, who will then be eligible to sponsor in their family members also is an invasion. And so it will continue until America is colonized and balkanized, and no longer “from many nations, one people,” but instead a polyglot, factionalized mess of competing, even warring, international special interests with divided loyalties.

This is a national security disaster of catastrophic proportions and an unsustainable burden upon taxpaying American citizens. We will be the ones who pick up the tab for social programs, education, criminal incarceration, and the fallout from gangs and terrorists coming across the border – and those already in our country.

I was done with my car, but I still had to return my deposit from Sears... So I went back there yesterday, 20-30 minutes in lane and there we go... I asked for my money back.Lady said no problem but they have to charge me 15% restocking fee!!! I was mad! I asked her what a hell they gonna restock??? Because I didn't order anything and whatever thay ordered not in stock at all!!! So I spoke to another guy after that (15 minutes I ws waiting while he was on a phone) and he told that I have to come back next day and talk to the manager. I said OK. I dont want to go back there again. I'm tired of there service. I dont feel like I have to go there 5 times for nothing.
Now I'm browsing I-net and looking for a lawer in Consumer protection law....
Do u think I'm right? If anybody have any bright ideas I appreciate it.
ps. At other place they done my axles cheaper and faster...
and thanks God I bought those wiper blades otherwise I would never notice that fraud.

My new car is deeply scratched with a key. Propably some irresponsible person did this to drive me crazy. The Scratches are all along the side vertically and horizonatally. Oh its awaful!
Is there any way or any product that can remove these scratches without leaving any prints?

I am living with somebody and we are both almost out of graduate school. For the first time in a long time, we will both have a good income. But we will also have school debts and we have other goals, like getting a house, minimizing our taxes and cleaning up our past credit issues. What kind of financial professional should we consult with? Tax attorney, financial planner, accountant, or something else? We are in the USA. Also, if you have approximate rates we can expect to pay and how long this sort of planning would take, that would be great.

I've been hanging out with a new bunch of people who dont really like my boyfriend, and bcoz they dont invite him around too he has now said I cant go to their house. I do not agree with people who try to make someone choose between one friend or another and normally would just stop seeing the person who tried to ask that of me. Also he did not like them in the first place, that is why i dont take him with me to see them. Should I listen to him or tell him to grow up?

Do we justify our knowledge based on others? For example, we gain knowledge from learning information perceived to be "fact". For example, we have learned that grass is green. (for arguement's sake, just agree the grass is green). This would be taken as "fact". However, it had to have been based on someone else's opinion based on observation and perception of what to call the color "green", and that grass possesses this trait. However, we accept this as "fact", because someone else would have had to also agree that grass is "green" for it to be accepted by still OTHER people. For example, I could say the sky is "purple polka dotted" but I would only be justified of my knowledge if someone else agreed with me, and once I got that justification, then I would "know".
However, if we only know what we know based on perception, and perception is limited to the senses. Can't we all perceive things differently? Also, perception is not 100% reliable. (for example.... (con't)
