As an undergrad major in philosophy. That will sharpen your logical thinking skills. That's what the LSAT is mostly based on logical thinking. If you did so so as an ungrad, you could make up lost ground by scoring in the 80 percentile on that test. If you get no where with good grades as an ungrad or on the LSAT, become a secondary school teacher.

Admission to Law School depends on LSAT scores and grades, very little actually depends on major. Law touches on pretty much all of life that all majors are applicable. Engineering degrees are useful if you want to be a Patent Attorney, Psychology helps trial work, and even Phys Ed might help if you want to be a Sports Attorney.
I'm not sure what the question at the end is, what happens if you don't get accepted to Law School is you don't go.

Major doesn't matter very much. Grades and LSAT scores matter a lot.
You don't have to focus on the humanities. A lot of lawyers with science or engineering degrees are much in demand as IP lawyers.
But, I'd say, take a lot of history, a foreign language, and writing courses. They will build a good foundation.
Good luck!

If you are already committed then there are Undergraduate Pre- Law Dregree programs which can also be used as a means to do work in Research assumming you don't make Graduate School right away. Technically you don't need to go to school at all you mere need to pass a State Bar Exam.

What everybody said above about major not mattering is entirely true. I'd major in something interesting that is easy. If you want to be a patent attorney you have to major in science or engineering. The problem with those majors is that it tends to be harder to make good grades. If you aren't interested in science and engineering, you probably don't want to be a patent attorney though anyway.

Well, I know that you have to have a degree in Law in order to get a lawyer's position. I also know that you have to have do a Lawyer's Bar Exam to get your licence to become a lawyer.

valuable, paralegals can grow to be attorneys, yet they might desire to pass to regulation college. There was something called "reading for the regulation" which you are able to do on the exterior, yet i do no longer think of you're able to try this anymore.
