Are the Republicans the only ones on the planet that use the resources? I think not. We have not said that global warming is junk science we said the studies done were based on junk science. The facts are the earth has warmed slightly over the past 100 years but there is no proof the either man or the Republicans are the cause. The climate on earth has always gone through cycles and it always will. As far as the SUV's what about Kerry being shuttled around during the election in his SUV and then he said it wasn't his it belonged to his family. Hypocrites the lot of ya.

1.) They've been predicting the end of natural resources for 100 years and haven't been right yet.

2.) In the '70's all of Science was convinced that a new Ice age was dawning and that we'd all ahve to adapt to wintry conditions year round. Also wrong.

3.) Global temperatures in the last 10 years have shown a decline, yet are held up as "proof" that we're boiling our planet.

4.) Al Gore gets driven around to his Global warming Conferences in a motorcade of SUV's Why shouldn't conservation apply to Both political parties?

5.) If millions or Democrats AND Republicans did not buy them, then there would be no SUV's on the market. Car companies only sell tings people want to buy.

Your sky is falling scenario and demonization of those who disagree is detrimental to a rational discussion of the issues.

This is from the WWF. Not really a unbiased source. Is it possible that technology will thwart some of the predictions that have been made? Look to the past to see. We were supposed to have a glogal ice age in the '70s and millions upon millions were supposed to die due to starvation. Neither of these things happened. So, what are we to make of that? Whatever you will. By the way, if all the environmentalists were to stop breathing everybody else would feel better and maybe a little cooler.

Every single human being is responsible for taking care of this planet. I bet there are a great many democrats who drive SUV's, eat off paper plates, do not recycle and not think twice about it. It's not just global warming. This is about over fishing, over hunting, stripping the rain forests, our earth's respiratory system, and polluting the atmosphere, not just with greenhouse gasses, but toxic substances that end up back in our drinking water. This is not a bi partisan issue it is a global issue. Each and every single person has responsibility here.

We will reach that far before 2050, and since we are like all other animals, we will cause disease by overcrowding, or because of bacterial evolution. Third, Republicans never said global warming was junk science, they just wanted more proof before they ruined the economy by making hasty, un proven wholesale changes that might not work or make a difference. The dems are great about making alarming and false statements in the name of the enviornment. Humans existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunter/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer & would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in winter.

The 2 most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into 2 distinct
subgroups: Liberals and Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. That's how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as "the Conservative movement."

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q's and doing the sewing, fetching and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement. Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into
women. The rest became known as 'girliemen.'

Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy and group hugs and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.

Another interesting revolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group
therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't "fair" to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink domestic beer. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, soldiers, economists, and
generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to "govern" the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America. They
crept in after the Wild West was tame and created a business of trying to get MORE for nothing.

Now you decide which are you. A conservative who produces and takes care of his family and responsibilities, or a liberal, who takes what others produce and redistributes it to his fellow liberals who only sit with their hands out waiting to be given what conservatives have produced.

Why doesn't Mr. Global Warming himself, Al Gore, take care of it? He's got SUVs he still drives, he's got a private jet, and he wouldn't even pay the little extra to the utility company to "go green." Bush did that! BTW, what are YOU doing about it?
