I like distilled water when I cook and I do not want any minerals, vitamins or other additives that tap and spring water have.

Distilled water is pure H2O. It is the condensed steam from a distillation process.

Spring water has whatever has filtrated from the ground in it (usually good stuff).

Tap water has added flourides and chlorides (for teeth and sanitation).

The above can grossly affect the taste of food because they are highly reactive.

Distilled water has no minerals and it is what I use in my radiator after I flush it.

It is water that has been filtered more than tap water. I use distilled water in my fish tank, others use it for plants
