How big of a rip-off is a Sociology BA?

I have heard mixed stories to this question.

One side of the story claims that a Sociology BA is worthless and useless, and a waste of time and money. They claim that a Sociology BA is for losers and idiots.

On the other hand, there are also those who claim that a Sociology BA is the best BA to have, and that you can do so many things with it that it isn't even funny.

Which side is right?

- Hate crowds and go as far as to drive at night to avoid traffic.
- Love talking to people online for hours, hate being around them in person.
- Would prefer to be in a smaller house with lot's of nice things rather than a larger house with few or less nice things.
- Cannot stand being locked and jailed into a 9-5 job, so have always owned my own store front business's to allow me to work on my preferred time.
- Stay up all night, sleep from 6 am to 12 or 1 pm just so I can enjoy the silence and peace of the night. (getting up early not a problem, just prefer the night).
- Keep looking for objects to make me happy, never ending the search. Traded a BMW in for a Lexus which I traded in 2 months ago for a Mercedes just to keep things "fresh and nice".
- Things that mean everything to other people mean nothing to me.
- Cannot stand to watch the TV when shows like "cheaters" is on because I cringe when they start arguing.

Whadda ya think, do I fit the bill

I was at my sisters this weekend and one of her neighbors came over. His wife left him for his uncle and she isnt all there as well and they have a baby together. Anyways he is now living by himself with no water and no power. He hasnt had a bath in god knows how long and is living off of Dorotios and hot pepsi. The inside of his house is piled full of trash and you can smell it from his driveway. I feel so bad for him because I know he doesnt have the mental capacity to take care of himself. I dont know what to do. I have thought of calling social services and talking to them about it, but Im extremly conflicted about the situation. I dont know if its my business to butt in to his situation. I dont want him hauled off and put into a home but he is the type who needs help because there is no way he can do it on his own.

My former sis in law is a terrible mother that lets her kids hang around child molestors, she neglects her own baby infant to take care of children that isn't hers.......long story short she goes from one man to the next saying she's pregnant and destroying their life in the process(her tubes are tied). Anyway She exploits her children on myspace giving their full name on Myspace and she has profane images of herself flipping someone off.

The infant is my brother's baby and she lives with my mom now(I have to take care of her on weekends noone else will.) When she is with her mom she gets neglected and stuff, and hangs around child molestors.

Her mother is a sociopath liar. She lies all the time.


Suggestions? It's a long story

Is there a way to report her abuse on Myspace(for exploiting children on there or having profane pics) or not?

On the spur-of-the-moment, I promised my fourth-grader and my six-year-old daughters that they could have a Halloween party at our house. The fourth-grader is OK (she's inviting four friends), but I'm having problems with the six-year-old's guest list. She wants to invite three friends. One six-year-old boy says he can't come unless I invite his older sister. One five-year-old says she won't come unless I invite her little brother. The other five-year-old has two younger siblings, and I haven't heard from her yet. To tell the truth, I'm not very good friends with any of their mothers, and I don't want to have to entertain whole families. But my daughter is really looking forward to it.

I can't have that many kids in the house at one time. Do I suck it up and have a different pre-school party on another date? Or do I disappoint my daughter, and just say no to all the madness?
