The Piano
A 1993 movie with Holly Hunter/Sam Neil & Harvey Keitel in it.
A movie about a mute woman who has a passion(love for her piano). Her parents marry her off to someone she never met (that didn't happen to me; it the rest I relate to). The husband she married wasn't nice to her exactly. He "gave" her piano to a neighbor in trade for land. That is what I relate to...in 1993 (Oct) I had to pawn more less my piano to a trust worthy church friend. At that time my ex-husband was abusing me/etc and I had to have the extra funds for a lawyer to fight and keep my children and food, etc. To give my piano up was so hard to do; but necessary. And I am one of 2 church pianist to. I had to go and practice my music program the evening before church. But I got that behind me now; the piano is paid off now and I have it back home. YES! I missed it. In the movie it show Ada (Holly) grieving for her piano...I also done just that. I play the same music that is on the move "The Piano"...it is very beautiful music....I play it very often.

The movie that best describes my life is Where the heart is, only I didn't give birth in a Walmart I was pregnant to an A hole. I was Ashley Judds character.

(Movie) You've Got Mail
For several reasons:
My hubby and I met online, and the story just reminds me alot of our online relationship. People also tell me I look like Meg, especially when I had her short crop - one guy in college actually used to call me Meg because he said I reminded him of her.
There are a few quirky similarities in that story.
