in order to understand what happens in the mind you need to know what is happening with the body. there are major differences in the approach of study but psychology is focused just on the mind while biology covers the whole body.

The state of mind can affect the state of the body, and the body can affect the state of the mind. They're connected, although all of someone's psychological issues are not necessarily related to biological ones. Still, there is the chance psychological issues that are rooted in something independent of the body could still affect the body at times.
