We have different views on what is acceptable for our 8 year old to do and not to do. I get upset when he lets her watch things like King Kong and X-Men 3. He says that it is fine. How can I get him to see that this stuff bothers me, and that it is not ok for our 8 year old to watch?

I started talking to her in August after several emails through myspace. We had a really long talk that first night and had so mnay things in common that we scared each other. a couple of weeks later after talking on the phone almost every night and text messaging each other, we started to realize we had deeper feelings. I felt it about the same time as her but was afraid to say anything too soon since we had not even seen each other yet. One night she almost told me what she felt for me and I stopped her before she did and told her I loved her and she said she loved me back. That was over a month ago. It was good for awhile, talking about seeing each other and always keeping in communication but after a couple of weeks, I started to hear less and less. I know I am being paranoid, but I call her (not too many times I think) and I usually dont get a call back or if I do, it's like a 20 minute conversation. She says she loves me, but should I be concerned?

i need help its getting cold and i dont know how to take care of her !its normal for a iguana to be cold or its her skin suppost to fell warm?i put some food (lettuce etc.) but in this 2 days i havent seen her eat .and one more question do i have to take her to the vet for rabbis shot or something?

I cannot believe how many "have to get ahead of all cars they can" and get angry if you do not get out of their way! Following too closely, cutting others off and general non caring about others seems to be norm. I would like to know why.

I remember, as a kid, there was a programme on ITV Sunday afternoons about a shipload of young people from around the world who got stranded on a strange island where the locals seemed to be living in the 16th century (or so) and their names started with either Z and Q (I can't remember which).
Does this sound familiar to anyone? It may have been an Australian programme, I'm not sure.

I'm in college and recovering from hating men so much. Anyway on this one class there's a group (the whole class since there's only 7-8) case project where you decide the life and death of each fictitious character. Well one of the married gals that were sitting next to me made up a story about how this pilot is a jerk and he should die because he had many wives(didn't say that in the description) and then I started to enjoy the fact to kill men because they're jerks and beast against women. I don't want to go that way again.

So how do you tell the instructor why you were gone today without lying to her? That you had personal issues you had to tend to? Is that lying?

i had a cheer thing in his home town all his friends came even his little brother.i called him and he said he was to busy and he forgot.

The doctor told my fiance a few months ago that he had a ruptured disk. He gets burning pains in his left leg when he stands or walks for more than a half hour or so, and he doesn't want to go through surgery to correct the problem (we have heard it doesn't really do much good, and also, we don't have the money for it). Does anyone know what we can do that would be non-invasive to help the situation? Right now he's using a cane, but that only helps slightly. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
